It was so beautiful when I got home yesterday with the boys that I decided that we had to do something fun. I ran around the house grabbing their swim trunks and a snack and we jumped into the car.
We went to one of The Columbus Dad’s favorite summertime places to take the boys – the Dublin Bunny Park that has an awesome water play area. The park is actually called Ballantrae Park, but every one calls it the bunny park because of the statue of 3 bunnies that sits on top of the hill by the water play area.
The boys had a blast. Last summer Heath would avoid the big sprayers and the waterfall, but this time he just ran in bucket in hand (yes in my rush I actually did remember buckets for the boys).
My only problem with this park is that their is no shade. They have 6 tables set up that have umbrellas on them, but that is no where close to enough for the
amount of people that go to this park. I don’t understand why Dublin doesn’t plant some trees to help out with the shade situation.
Overall it was a great time and the kids were completly worn out at the end.
