I was out playing with the boys and I was watching Cedric ride the bike around and noticed he was not using the training wheel that was still on the
bike. I went and got my tools and took the wheel off. He was pretty excited about having a “2 wheel bike” and was anxious to jump on and ride.
Sure enough without any problems he just started riding. He is a little shakey at times, but that is to be expected. He also needs to practices his stopping because he sometimes forgets and just drags his shoes which explains why the bottoms of the shoes are very worn.

The best part was that after riding around for a bit he came up to me and asked if I could get my bike out of the garage and if we could go on a ride together. I am looking forward to riding with him, but I think my bike needs a lot of love. It hasnt been ridden in a couple years. Maybe next weekend we can get it down and get it back into shape.
